Dear Dr. Torda:

You are welcome to come for the month of August to the Stanford Artificial
Intelligence Laboratory, however, we cannot offer you any financial support.

It is hard to judge from your papers whether you will find any of us interesting
to talk to because none of us work on physiology and even psychology is only
a peripheral interest to our faculty and research associates.  However, I gather
from your letter that you understand this.  Also, there are no organized 
teaching or lectures taking place this summer.

On the other hand, almost all of us will be here for the month of August so
you should have a good chance to sample the artificial intelligentsia.
